I entered the world of web development back in the mid 90's. It all started when I installed a software program called "Net Objects Fusion". Net Obejct was a simple web development program that provided WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) tools to the user. Soon I was able to make basic websites without writing a single line of code. That made me focus on other important ingredients, like design and aesthetics, speed and search engine optimization (SEO) as well as my all time favorite, usability and user experience techniques.

I then started exploring and experimenting with dynamic websites and content management systems (the so called CMS). I remember that I downloaded and tested every single popular CMS that was available at the time, and I ended up using Mambo that later became known as Joomla. While I was developing websites on Joomla I had the pleasure of meeting Yannis Karampelas (CEO of Netstudio) while at that time Netstudio was also developing on Joomla.

In 2012 I attended the "JoomlaDay Greece 2012" where I had a quick talk with Yannis. He told me that Netstudio would be soon switching their business to Drupal. The timing was perfect. At that time I had already decided that I will be also making the switch off from Joomla. I then started learning and digging into Drupal. The more I learned, the more I fell in love with it. Since then I have developed many sites on Drupal and contributed code back to the community. My most successful Drupal contribution is the Adminimal Theme project. Which is currently the most popular Administration Theme with more than 756.000 downloads and counting!
